I recently happened upon this meme from Robin Sharma that serves as a good reminder for us all.
Too often, when thinking about goals or embarking on a diet or healthy eating plan, we think about how fabulous we will be — as opposed to how amazing we are in the moment. Fact is, the more we believe in ourselves and our worth, the better chance we have of achieving any goal we set for ourselves (whether having to do with losing weight, getting healthier, getting ahead in our careers, strengthening relationships or whatever).
This doesn’t mean we can’t aspire to be more, do more and have more. But the more we remind ourselves of our true fabulosity (even in this very moment), the more momentum we’ll have. So take a minute today (and everyday) to read this and other positive memes that can remind you how important you are to the planet. There’s only one you. And yes, you are amazing. Believe it.

Don’t let anything — or anyone (not even yourself) — introduce the word “can’t” into your psyche. No matter where you’re at in your life, no matter what you might be facing, this moment is the perfect time to press the “start” key in regard to loving yourself, getting healthier, reaching for your goals — you name it. Never forget that you’re worth it. And yes, you can tell anyone who might disagree that I said you definitely are worth it. (No sh*t! I truly believe in you!)
So whatever small, medium or giant step you might be facing today… Take it!
This moment counts more than any other before it. It’s your chance to recommit to what matters: your health, your happiness, your fabulosity. You really do have it goin’ on — no matter how much you weigh right now. If you choose, this can be the last time your weight or clothes size reflect their current numbers. Just make sure you make the choice for this kind of positive change from a place of wanting to feel better, look better and be better. But do so without any shame or guilt. Feeling down about yourself or past choices does nothing but hold you back. Nothing in the past matters like this moment does. Make it count. And remember — I believe in you.
